CEREC
CEREC stands for Ceramic Reconstruction and is a sophisticated system of designing and making high quality, metal-free dental restorations in one patient visit. Developed by Sirona, CEREC utilizes 3D photography and CAD/CAM technology to assist a dentist in designing a virtual restoration of a crown or bridge without taking impressions and when combined with a milling unit, is able to build the actual restoration while you are wating in the chair.

Invisalign
In dental school I thought I would never do braces. Bending wires, placing brackets, measuring arches, rulers, protractors, etc. sounded absolutely boring. For over 7 years I’ve been providing this easy and remarkable service to my patients. Who would have ever thought that placing clear plastic trays in your mouth could straighten teeth? It does! You can eat and drink what you want. You can brush and floss your teeth more effectively. No more wires or big metal or ceramic brackets stuck to your teeth. No mouth sores. No wax. No broken wires or loose brackets. All done with CEREC!

White Teeth You Deserve

Root Canal
I’ve been doing root canals for over 31 years. Root canals get a bad reputation but we’ve come a long way since I was initially taught in dental school. The technique and instruments have changed dramatically allowing me to do most root canals in less than an hour. Root canals used to take three appointments, several hours, and sometimes were painful. Now my patients sometimes fall asleep during the procedure and most feel nothing at all.

Peridontics
If gingivitis goes unchecked then periodontitus can result. Periodontitis is the gradual loss of bone and tissue around you teeth eventually resulting in tooth loss. There are all kinds of fancy treatments with lasers and such, but I find the best results can be achieved with simple deep scaling and root planing of the teeth with more frequent yearly cleanings.

Oral Surgery Extraction
Oral surgery is an umbrella term for surgical treatments such as dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions and bone grafting. Dental implants, an excellent solution for missing teeth, are surgically placed tooth roots that hold dental crowns in place. A wisdom tooth extraction may be recommended if there isn't enough room in your mouth to accommodate wisdom teeth and they become impacted, partially erupted or infected. Bone grafting transfers bone from one part of the jaw to another, usually to accommodate a dental implant.
No Pain Guarantee!

Dentures
To say that teeth were designed to last a lifetime is absurd. If that were true, then there would be no need for dentists. From time to time teeth are lost due to various reasons – decay, periodontal disease, or accidents. Not everyone can afford or are a candidate for implants, so a partial or complete denture can be fabricated very easily and quickly. Some dentures can be fabricated using newer, nylon denture base materials which is flexible, aesthetic and lighter than traditional acrylic. Going without teeth in unnoticeable areas of your mouth is not a good idea.

White Fillings
Silver fillings are a thing of the past! Silver fillings are a cheap, quick and durable restoration. However, over time they corrode, leak, and fracture your teeth. The fact that they contain a significant amount of mercury is not a good thing either. That’s why for more than 20 years I’ve been placing composite (tooth colored) fillings almost exclusively. They are bonded to the underlying tooth structure so less tooth removal is needed to keep them for falling out or breaking and their design prevents fracturing the tooth unlike amalgam.

Implant Abutment
I do not place the actual implant into your jaw. I leave that to a competent specialist with years of experience and expertise. I do, however, restore the implant with a custom abutment.
